whatever bounteous banner, heavily star studded films which will release during that period. The likes of Blue, All The Best, Main Aur Mrs. Khanna are probable to release around that point of time. But amongst this one flick which will give a formal competition to Aladin is Blue. Blue is movies
supposed to be the costliest Bollywood flick ever. And with a star cast having Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Katrina Kaif, Lara Dutta and in a cameo Kylie Minogue, the flick can do miracles at the box office. Aladin and Blue are the two films which will wager the rise or the fall of the flick industry because not only it has a huge star cast or a Diwali release, but both films impact a massive cost of production. Director of
Aladin, Sujoy Ghosh who has already started dropping a movies with his Aladin blog and now the official theatrical trailer of the flick is making hoopla. There are a few fortes the flick is employed with such as Big B, whatever amazing astonishing special effects and of course who could forget the damsel from Sri Lanka Jacqueline Fernandez who is already the speech of the town. Aladin Chatterjee (Riteish Deshmukh) lives in the city of Khwaish, an parentless who has been bullied since childhood by Kasim and his gang. But his life changes when Jasmine (Jacqueline Fernandez) gives him a magic lamp - because it movies loose the genie Genius (Amitabh Bachchan). Desperate to grant him 3 wishes and seek the end of his contract with the Magic Lamp, the rock-star Genius makes Aladin's life difficult until the real threat looms on the horizon: the ex-genie Ringmaster (Sanjay Dutt). Why does Ringmaster want to kill Aladin? What is the Stygian info about Aladin's past that Genius is carrying? And what is Aladin's destiny? All these questions will get unfolded when the flick releases. Sujoy Ghosh who did a commendable job as a director in Jhankaar Beats will impact his heart in movies his representative for sure this Diwali as Jhankaar Beats, Home Delivery were not that broad on venture movies. But a lot rides on Aladin as this one is far fetched fantasy flick which is having every the ingredients of being a block buster impact flick of this year. Well, lets wish this one does wonders at the box office and also prove to the Hollywood flick fraternity that Bollywood’s own Aladin aint that bad either and is on a roll….
